“personal information” means information, whether recorded or not, about an identifiable individual but not aggregated information that cannot be associated with a specific individual. Personal information does not include the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.
“third party” means an individual other than the user, or the user’s agent, or an organization outside CPSC.
“use” means the treatment, handling, and management of personal information by and within CPSC.
“user” means an individual who uses the Service provided by CPSC, including individual clients of CPSC
- Purpose of Collection, Use and Disclosure
CPSC may collect, use or disclose personal information generally to provide the Services, and including for the following purposes:
a. to set up and administer client accounts;
b. to provide the Services that you request;
c. to process and provide bill statements, invoices and to collect amounts owing to CPSC and to enforce their rights generally;
d. to obtain instructions with respect to the Services;
e. to respond to inquiries;
f. respond to questions, comments, requests or complaints that you submit to CPSC;
g. to provide Service related announcements, newsletters and articles to you;
h. to protect against error and fraud;
i. to verify the identities and account information of users of the Service; and
j. to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Your personal information may be collected, used or disclosed for any of these purposes set out above, or for an additional purpose that we disclose to you at the time of collection. We will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information without obtaining additional consent, except in connection with the sale of our business or unless we are otherwise required or permitted by law.
CPSC may disclose your personal information to:
a. an agent used by CPSC to collect an outstanding account;
b. a person who, in the reasonable judgment of CPSC, is seeking the information as an agent of the user; and
c. a third party or parties, where the user consents to such disclosure or disclosure is required by law.

- Safeguarding Your Personal Information
CPSC is committed to safeguarding your personal information. CPSC uses appropriate security measures to protect personal information against risks such as loss or theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, modification or destruction regardless of the format in which it is held. The methods of protection and safeguards used by CPSC include, but are not limited to, locked filing cabinets, need-to-know access and technological measures including the use of passwords, encryption and firewalls. While CPSC cannot guarantee that risks such as loss, theft, unauthorized access or disclosure of personal information will not occur, CPSC will make every commercially reasonable effort to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.
CPSC takes care in disposing of or destroying personal information to prevent unauthorized parties from gaining access to the information. CPSC also ensures that its employees with access to personal information are made aware of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information. Finally, CPSC protects personal information disclosed to third parties by contractual agreements stipulating the confidentiality of the information and the purposes for which it is to be used.
CPSC is committed to keeping your personal information as complete, up-to-date, and accurate as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used. CPSC will promptly correct or complete any personal information found to be inaccurate or incomplete. Where appropriate, CPSC will transmit amended information to third parties having access to the personal information in question. Upon request, CPSC will provide a user with a reasonable opportunity to review the personal information in his or her file to review its accuracy. Such personal information will be provided within a reasonable time of the request and at minimal or no cost to the user.
Also, upon request, CPSC will provide an account of the use and disclosure of a user’s personal information and, where reasonably possible, will state the source of the information. In providing an account of disclosure, CPSC will provide a list of organizations to which it may have disclosed personal information about the user when it is not possible to provide an actual list.
Your personal information is retained by CPSC only as long as we need it to effectively provide our products and services to you and for a reasonable length of time thereafter in case we need to meet any legal or government requirements, or as otherwise allowed by you.
- Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information by CPSC at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. In certain circumstances, your withdrawal of consent will result in the inability of CPSC to continue providing aspects of the Service to you. Please contact CPSC for more information regarding the implications of withdrawing consent.

CPSC will report and notify breaches of security safeguards that pose a real risk of significant harm and will keep records of all breaches of security safeguards.
